5 REASONS WHY WE LOVE SCUBA DIVING

We just want to start off by saying one thing. You don't really "need" a reason to go diving, but rather a reason NOT to! to us scuba diving is one of the best pleasures in life, maybe even the ultimate best if you want our opinion.

In this blog post we'll take a shot at trying to convince you that scuba diving is the absolute best thing to do when you're on vacation. This is a short list of 5 things we LOVE about scuba diving. However, don't think we can't come up with more, it's only because there are so MANY things to add that we decided to talk about the top 5 things on top of our list. So let's get started!

#1 It is the ultimate adventure!

Every single dive is an adventure of it's own. When you go out for a dive you'll always find yourself waiting for the guide's brief to get to know what to expect this dive would be like.

Afterwards, you get this extreme adrenaline rush, you fill up with anticipation and you just can't wait for the dive to start! This feeling is the best ever, once you try it you get hooked up and addicted to it.

#2 You become part of a big family

The scuba diving community is the best! you find yourself bonding with complete stranger over the smallest things, like seeing an octopus for example or sharing a fear of darkness. It always brings people together when they over come a certain fear together or they help each other during in a bumpy site or when they share stories about the amazing things they saw in one of their diving excursions.

The people you meet who often start out by being complete strangers turn into friends and, weirdly enough, quite often become family!

#3 The best meditation exercise

Another reason why we love scuba diving is that you can always count on a dive to unplug from the stress of your day-to-day life.

When you dive you focus on your breathing, inhale in, exhale out. It gives you this feeling of "Zen" that nothing else can give.

It's also so quite and peaceful down there. you can clear your mind and do some meditation. All you need to do is focus on the beauty around you and that's it.

#4 Swimming without restrictions

Scuba diving is like flying. You can dive up, down and in all directions without any restrictions. Some people even describe descending in a dive as "free falling".

It's quite amazing how this freedom can affect your overall sense of happiness and satisfaction. Also something you would love to get used to!

#4 No dive is the same!

As much as scuba divers love to explore new dive site, they also always dive in the same spots over and over and over again!

Any idea why? because no matter how many times you dive in the same spot, you can always see different marine life and you'll always have a different experience.
